Please do not apply until you have read our requirements and our rules. You will need to send the following in the body of an email to us here. The subject heading should read “Prospective Member Sample” and you should paste your 5-10 sample pages in the body of the E-Mail. You should choose something that you would submit to the group for critique if you were a member. Please do not send attachments, for security purposes, we will not open them. Please be sure to include a small bio of yourself and answer the following questions:

1. How long have you been writing?
2. What do you write? (SF, fantasy, contemporary romance, Silhouette Desire, etc.)
3. How many novels have you completed? Novellas?
4. Are you agented and/or published?
5. What are your writing strengths?
6. What are your writing weaknesses?
7. What are you looking for from the group?
8. How can you contribute to the group?
9. Anything else you want to add.

Please do not send professionally edited or “about to be published” pages as this is not an accurate indication of your writing for critique group purposes. Any submission of less than 5 pages will be ignored. New Members are accepted on a quarterly schedule: January 15, April 15, July 15 & October 15. Applications are accepted on an on-going basis, but no decisions are made until our quarterly acceptance period begins. You will receive a confirmation email, be put on our waiting list and possibly sent sample pages to give us an idea of your critique style.
