Whichever, my life is about to become balanced. Summer was full of life, full of family, full of outdoors, travel and excitement.
Next week I pass through the doorway to a different kind of life full of family and excitement. This variety comes with coffee, jeans and sweaters, and solitude. [I'm ignoring the homework hassle that I know will commence, the early evening bickering and the early morning grouching, the absence-of-video-game whining...]
I like my glasses the way they are. You don't have to be naive to allow joy in your life.
So tell me, what are you looking forward to this fall? ![]()

We still have a few more weeks of summer, the kids don't go back to school until September 7th. Personally, I love the fall. I love the feeling of getting back to routines, the smell of the fall leaves, the crisp night air…ah…
I'm also looking forward to blogging more with my passionate critter girls!

Aww, now you guys have me missing New York and fall leaves. I'm looking forward to a solid routine, not so much spontaneity, and more time to WRITE! I wish I could say I have kids that drive me nuts…no, I don't. LOL.
Cheers to more blogging and writing!

While I love the freedom of summer…no schedules to keep, swimming, and enjoying the summer activities, I am also looking forward to my favorite time of year. Fall. Cool weather and football!! Which is also a signal for school and routine bedtimes!! This year the little one will try out public school and we're hoping he does well. I am really looking forward to a daily writing schedule!!

I'm looking forward to turning the courtyard at school into a green living lab; to writing some shorter stuff after spending the summer on a single (100K) novel; to NaNoWriMo, especially to being a YWP sponsor; most of all to hearing about my oldest's day as he returns from his first year at school.
