4 years and counting!
I figured someone ought to make a note of the auspici momentu propitio um.
Right. We try that again!
Happy 4th Birthday, PC!
It's been a while!
I'm going to quote Debora here, because, well…
On January 7th 2006 we started the PC Yahoo group – but Jennifer, Cyn and I had been crit partners for a while before that! I believe before the year was out we had moved to a free forum with this one hot on it's heels!
Wow, ladies…
Thanks for the support, the good times, the laughs and the professional guidance!
I count you as some of my closest friends.
Gosh, Deb, guess what? We feel the same way.
Some of us have been here from the beginning, some almost from the beginning, some took a break and came back, some never left, some have been around a while now, some just joined.
We are currently up to 18 members (ergo, applications are closed) and our last four new victims recruits are still finding their feet, but we're all in it for one thing:
Cake!

Err. Wait. No. That's not it.
Cake fights!

Ok. Maybe not.
Okay.
All kidding aside…
We're all about books, writing, publishing, critting and most of all — we support each other.
(Unless there's a hunk around. Then all bets are off and it's every woman for herself.
)
Happy Birthday, PC!

I know without a doubt, PC is the best thing that has ever happened to me along my journey to the Land of the Pubs. Not only have you wonderful ladies helped tame my way with words, but you've become some of my closest friends. I've cringed when I posted new work, and grinned like an idiot at the wonderful, constructive crits I've received. I've cried, smiled, celebrated and cyber-hugged with you guys for 2 of those incredible 4 PC years.
Love you, guys!!!! Happy Anniversary!!! *handing out the bubbly for all-around toasts* Chelle Sandell(Quote) (Reply)
Um, did someone say cake? Or was that beefcake?

I really can't believe it's been four years! And Chelle, I'm toasting you ladies right back!
I'm so glad we have this place to call our own, where we can be ourselves and be honest about what works and what doesn't and how to make it better.
Here's to all the critters past, present and future – I'm wishing all the best to each and every one of you!
Woo-hoo! I'm breakin' out the bubbly too!

Thanks for a great 4 years (and counting!)
If there is one thing an aspiring author can do for his/her self I think a group like this is it. Not only is PC a great group of women who are personally supportive. The group also provides a wealth of information about the writing industry as a whole. As well as the structure and critiques the women receive and provide.
I'm glad to be celebrating this with each of you and I look forward to many, many more PC anniversaries. R.M.Gilbert(Quote) (Reply)
