Yeah. Been to the hell that is "seek and destroy" that extra space. Thank God it was only a 15k novella! I've since learned my lesson, but I'm still fixing the ms that I completed before I learned it. I'm old school, I learned to type on a typewriter. I was a secretary with a typewriter dammit!
